Graduation ceremonies with unforgettable moments

Premiere at the summer graduations: IMC Krems awarded degrees for the first time as a “Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften”. This designation perfectly reflects the core tasks in teaching and research to which IMC Krems has always been committed. It also corresponds to the international designation “University of Applied Sciences”, which further strengthens its global presence.

In a festive ceremony in the event hall at the IMC Campus Krems at the beginning of July, the graduation of the bachelor and master degree programmes at IMC Krems were celebrated for a week. For all those who were unable to attend the celebrations in person, there was, as always, the opportunity to join in via livestream.

650 alumni from twelve bachelor programmes and ten master programmes celebrated their successful graduation together with family, friends and the teaching staff and employees of IMC Krems. The guests were visibly delighted to see the graduates so happy and to be able to celebrate.

At the graduation ceremony, the alumni were introduced, took their vows and were awarded an academic degree in the presence of IMC CEO Ulrike Prommer, and Michaela Sabathiel, authorised signator and Deputy to CEO at IMC Krems. “Our IMC spirit is always palpable at the ceremonies, because the alumni form a large community of young people with excellent opportunities for the labour market,” says Martin Waiguny, Academic Head of IMC Krems.

Graduation in Tashkent, Uzbekistan

IMC Krems also welcomes the latest cohort of graduates from Uzbekistan to the alumni network. Tanja Ihden, Christian Kümmel and Jens Ennen visited Tashkent State University of Economics between 11 and 14 June. The programme included the bachelor examinations for the third year of the transnational IMC degree programmes Tourism and Leisure Management and International Business Management. The examinations were followed by the graduation ceremony.

Graduation in Baku, Azerbaijan

The Baku Alumni Chapter of IMC Krems and the Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University also welcomes new alumni to its network. Following the bachelor examinations of the Tourism and Leisure Management degree programme under the chairmanship of Jens Ennen, the alumni celebrated their graduation in a festive setting. During these days, from 27 to 28 June, the admission interviews with the prospective students of the class of 2024/25 also took place.
