Getting to know Krems

In addition to the academic events, the side programme offered participants numerous opportunities to exchange ideas and get to know the Krems region.

The official welcome of the participants was followed by a guided tour of the various IMC Krems campuses. Another highlight was the excursion to the Wachau, one of the most beautiful cultural landscapes in Austria.

Those interested in sport were able to go on a hike up the Kreuzberg, while Austrian culture and cuisine took centre stage at the traditional evening. The programme was rounded off by the Night Watchman Tour, a guided tour of the medieval town of Krems, and the Farewell Dinner as a festive conclusion to the event.
