On the way to becoming a European University
Rectors, managing directors and project team members from 7 European colleges and universities, including the Artevelde University of Applied Sciences (NL), Vasile Alecsandri University of Bacău (Romania), HAN University of Applied Sciences (NL), Oulu University of Applied Sciences (Finland), Vic University (Spain) and FH Münster (Germany) worked intensively together for three days on the application for the next round of the European University Initiative.
The focus was on the further development of the individual work packages within the framework of interactive workshops. Learning outcomes and new tactics for the next application were just as important as networking opportunities for the delegation participants with staff from all departments of IMC Krems. Of course, an interesting social programme was also on the agenda for the international cooperation partners: a guided tour of the IMC Krems buildings on the campus itself, a visit to the IMC locations Piaristengasse and Gozzoburg, a tour of Dürnstein in the World Heritage region Wachau, as well as a sightseeing tour of Krems and an evening programme where typical regional specialities could be tasted.
An important topic of the meeting was also the "UP University Branding Workshop", which dealt with the future positioning and awareness of the "UP" brand. All participants were very satisfied with the results of this meeting and are already looking forward to the next steps.
