Support for students in challenging life situations

At the IMC Krems we want to support students in challenging life situations in order to still get through their studies well.

Heide Hoda is the contact person at the IMC Krems to support students in particularly challenging life situations.

We want to use the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3rd December at the IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems as an opportunity to draw attention to our helpdesk, which is also – but not exclusively – for students with disabilities.  There are a variety of other reasons why you can contact us at any time, such as chronic illnesses, acute or permanent mental limitations or challenges, or even recent strokes of fate that can make completing or continuing your studies a great burden or effort.

If you have the feeling that you need support within the course of studies, please contact Mag.a (FH) Heide Hoda at any time to get advice on possible compensations. These talks always take place confidentially and aim to develop an individual solution based on your needs.
In stress and strain situations that go beyond this framework, the IMC UAS Krems also offers free psychological student counselling in cooperation with the Hilfswerk.
